Golf Conditioning

Golf is an explosive and physically demanding sport with unique conditioning requirements. Like all athletes, golfers must train for their sport to achieve the highest level of performance and reduce the risk of injury.

MCO's Center for Sports and Fitness Enhancement (CSFE) offers a Golf Conditioning Program that improves the ability of the golfer by properly identifying and correcting biomechanical faults.

Golf biomechanics is a scientific approach to golf conditioning that focuses on flexibility, stability, strength and power. This improves consistency and accuracy and enhances distance. By correcting biomechanical faults, a golfer will maintain proper posture and synchronize all movements resulting in a higher performance level.

Benefits of a Golf Conditioning Program

  • Improved flexibility, strength and posture
  • Increased club-head speed, driving distance and accuracy
  • Decreased risk of injury and/or recovery time
  • Increased enjoyment of the game

What does the Golf Conditioning Program involve?

A CSFE golf conditioning specialist will assess your strengths and weaknesses and assist you in identifying your goals for the program. Your assessment includes:
  • Postural Analysis
  • Flexibility
  • Range of Motion

  • Swing Analysis with a PGA Professional

A program is then designed to address your individual needs and goals with emphasis on balance and muscle coordination.
